  5. I have an idea. I'd like suggestions from other parents about books for children of all ages that teach a lesson about manners and good conduct. I'm thinking about Miss Piggle Wiggle from back in my day. She taught about things like interrupting conversations to table manners.

  6. Great idea! (I love Miss Piggle Wiggle, too, BTW) There's a book called, "How to Behave and Why" for small children and a tiny book by a nun that explains how charity is the basis of all good manners (I need to look up that title for you). Also, Grace & Courtesy are an essential part of the Montessori Method. Basic manners, including how to interrupt, are taught to two-and-one-half-year-olds.

Thanks for the input--I will post something on this in the future!
